ABOUT ME
My name is Maja and I work as a certified postpartum doula and brith doula in Berlin. I am also a breastfeeding counselor. I come from the beautiful north of Germany called Schleswig-Holstein, but Berlin has been my home since 2005.
After giving birth to my two children, I decided – alongside my professional work in the fashion industry – to complete two professional trainings at the Gesellschaft für Geburtsvorbereitung ( GfG ). Since then, I have been supporting women during pregnancy, birth, and especially during the postpartum period and beyond.
I offer women and their families loving and individual support as they jump right into family life.
I speak German and English.
FURTHER EDUCATION
As a postpartum doula, I continuously pursue further training to provide families with the best possible and most professionally support. I regularly attend courses on relevant topics such as first aid for babies, toddlers, and adults, as well as mental health (MHFA First Aider ). Child welfare, sensitive handling of birth trauma, and appropriate vegan or vegetarian nutrition during pregnancy and breastfeeding are also key components of my continuing education.
